The entire stock of shredded Slovenian Tolar banknotes and their equivalent value in euros
is stacked into a single money sculpture (12 x 5 x 8 meters).
The temporary location is in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. The sculpture takes the shape of
Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia and a national symbol.
The base consists of the shredded mass of Tolar banknotes, while the peaks represent the
conversion value in shredded euro banknotes - exchange rate 239.64.
The Tolar mass amounts to approximately 110 tons, with a former total value of around 203 billion Tolar.
The equivalent value is represented by approximately 847 million shredded euro banknotes.

After lengthy negotiations with the Slovenian National Bank, the devalued Tolar
banknotes were not made available. Models and object works related to the overall project were
exhibited in Brussels in 2008. That year, Slovenia held the EU Council Presidency.
A model of the EUROSIT sculpture, filled with shredded Tolar and Euro banknotes, was briefly lowered at the highest point in Slovenia – Triglav, 2864 meters high.
A flyover of Triglav National Park was not authorized.
